Silicone (MQ) Hoses (SAE J20 R1
Class A) Manufactured to SAE J20
standards, all our silicone hoses are hand made and formed
onto mandrels to fit specific curved spaces. Depending on
the fabric reinforcement in the hose Silicone operates at
temperatures from -50șC to + 250șC with operating pressures
typically 3 bar. Silicone offers high resistance to
atmospheric oxygen, ozone, water, sunlight and ultraviolet
radiation & has excellent compression set. Its diverse
properties make Silicone ideal for any application and is
widely used in, ultra lightweight aerospace, Exhaust Gas
Recirculation, FDA approved food and medicine, extruded
tubing / profiles, heater & coolant applications, Bellows
(charge air cooler, turbo, intercooler) applications,
exhaust gas recirculation applications, Silicone ducting,
marine applications however Silicone cannot be used for the
delivery of fuel, oil or where there might be oil vapours
